Counter Strike: CD Key already in use

First open up regedit, to do this go to the start menu,
click "Run", next type in "regedit" and press enter.
Next go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Half-Life\Settings and double click on "Key", change the value that's in the box.
After that go to file than exit.
Then Reboot your machine and you are set.

How to set up the WRT54G as a switch/bridge.

Connect a computer to the WRT54G and use a web browser to log in to it. (Device default IP address 192.168.1.1. Default user name blank and password "admin". ) Change the configuration of the WRT54G as follows:

1. Under Settings/Basic Settings, turn the DHCP server off. CLICK THE Save Settings BUTTON.
2. Under Settings/Advanced Routing, change the Operating Mode from Gateway to Router. CLICK THE Save Settings BUTTON.

Plug the ethernet cable from/to the upstream router into one of the numbered jacks, NOT the Internet jack. Change the IP of the WRT54G to a IP within your LAN's IP range. Reboot everything.

How to create Counter Strike Shortcut to Desktop

1. Make sure that you have a full installation of counter strike.
2. Then right click the desktop and click the “add new shortcut”.
3. Enter the location of hl.exe or just click browse to locate it. (e.g. “D:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe”)

4.  Change the name to “Counter Strike”. Then click Finish.
5  Afterward the icon for Half Life will appear.

5. Right click the icon the change Target Field to:
“D:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game cstrike”
6. You can also change the Counter Strike icon by clicking the Change Icon Button. Then select the icon you preferred.
